On an episode of ABC’s “What Would You Do?” the scenario was a veteran struggling to pay for groceries for his baby. ABC hired two actors to play the role of a grocery store cashier and an army veteran.
While the veteran attempts to pay for groceries for his baby, he soon realizes that he does not have enough money. The show tests the reaction of customers at the grocery store. The point is to highlight how normal, everyday people would respond to such a scenario.
More than one of the customers volunteer to chip in and help pay for the veteran’s groceries.
