Random acts of kindness can make the biggest impact on someone’s day and for those who witness the good deed played in action.
While sitting outside of Lindbergh Center Station, an elderly woman dressed in a red coat noticed a man sitting on the bench next to her. He was having a hard time with his tie.
She asked him, “Do you know how to tie it properly?”
“No ma’am,” the young gentlemen replied.
The woman tapped her husband on the shoulder, “Come on this side and teach this young man how to tie his tie.”
Without hesitation, the woman’s husband proceeded to teach the young man how to tie a tie properly. He gave him a step-by-step tutorial.
Redd Desmond Thomas was so impressed with the gesture; he posted the candid photo on his Facebook with the full details of the kind couple’s caring gesture. His post has gone viral with over 981K likes, loves, and comments showered the photo.
One Facebook user’s response to the photo writes: “Humanity can be wonderful. [If] everyone chips in, this world will become a better place.”
This couple does not even know that they have not only helped a man learn to tie a tie, but inspired an entire generation that a little kindness can go a long way.
