Seven young men are being sought by the New York Police Department in connection with the subway beating of a 14-year-old boy in a Brooklyn subway station.
People who were in the March 14 attack in New York City and filmed it and posted it to social media are being sought by police, according to a police statement shared with the Daily Caller News Foundation.
According to a video released by the NYPD, while the six assailants punched and kicked the teen victim, a seventh man recorded the incident in selfie mode and flashed a symbol with his hand.

According to NYPD, four attackers were clearly visible in images that were not included in this video.
According to the NYPD, the 14-year-old victim, who has not been publicly identified, was taken to the hospital with swelling and bruising following the attack.
After a string of violent attacks, Mayor Eric Adams of New York City introduced a new safety program aimed at reducing violent crime in the subway system. Police patrols have been increased in “high-priority” areas, and homeless and mentally ill people have been removed from public transportation.
