A shocking video of a man stabbed in NYC on Manhattan’s Upper East Side has just been made public. The NYPD tweeted a 16-second video on Saturday showing an assailant with a large knife attacking a 29-year-old stranger while wearing a black and a balaclava mask.
The victim is seen in the video backpedaling away from the knife-wielding assailant while wearing a baseball hat, white mask, and carrying a brown paper bag. The assailant then swung the weapon wildly as he chased the victim off the sidewalk and onto the road, as shown on video.
In the videotaped, broad-daylight assault, a man was slashed in the back and left arm multiple times, police say. According to the police, the stabbed victim did not know the attacker at all.
Before 2 p.m. on Thursday, a stabbing occurred on the East 63rd Street and Third Avenue Q and F train station’s sidewalk near a subway entrance, according to police.
Assailant: NYPD says he or she is about 30 years old and has a medium build; NYPD is looking for him or her. After stabbing the victim without provocation, the attacker fled the scene on a black E-bike, police said.
