Spoiler Alert: This article contains spoilers for Season 23 of Big Brother.
The Big Brother eviction is never predictable, but sometimes it’s a relief. This has been true since the very first episode of this hit reality show in 2000. Big Brother is a reality competition show in which contestants compete to be the last person remaining. Each week, there’s a live vote and multiple commercial breaks before it’s revealed who was eliminated from the game.
So, who was the latest person to get evicted from ‘Big Brother’?
Last week, we watched HOH Sarah Beth Steagall follow through on her plan to evict fan-favorite Derek Xiao. However, it’s now her turn standing beside two others in the hot seat with Kyland Young and Xavier Prather as nominees due to an earlier punishment. Although she almost prevailed in the Power of Veto competition against Hannah Chaddha, allowing him off the block would have been better for all parties involved so he handed over control instead of giving them one less option down there is no saving either nominee at this point anyone could go if they wanted.
Kyland was the only person safe from eviction this week, as he beat out Sarah Beth by a margin of five to one. Tiffany Mitchell had initially seemed like she wanted to evict Sarah Beth, but in the end, voted for her. It’s down to the wire for Season 23 Big Brother eviction and we don’t know who won Head of Household yet. What will happen with this epic alliance? And what other surprises are in store?
There are also surprise double evictions on ‘Big Brother’ every season. When will we see one?
Although weekly evictions are par for the course in the Big Brother house, one thing that’s less predictable is a double eviction. These can pop up at any given point throughout the season, though they usually come later and are often used after a Thursday eviction has been canceled or after a player has returned to the game through some new twist. No one is guaranteed the win in Season 23, but a double eviction on Big Brother can still be exciting for longtime fans. After every weekly vote and eviction are complete, there’s an immediate Head of Household competition followed by a nomination ceremony that occurs right after then another quick veto challenge with veto ceremony follows before proceeding to the regular week at hand.
Rumors are swirling that there will be a triple eviction soon on Big Brother. The houseguests may have to vote out another person before the night is over, and this would happen unexpectedly because it’s something we don’t see often if you’re a super-fan of BB. Like most things with Big Brother, evictions, in general, are pretty high stakes.
